National Football Foundation to Partner with Sport & Story and Playfly Sports to Launch 'Good in the Game' Newsletter and Podcast
The National Football Foundation (NFF) today announced a partnership with Sport & Story and Playfly Sports to produce a weekly newsletter and podcast series focused on highlighting the positive impact of football on communities across the country.
The newsletter, titled "Good in the Game," will feature stories of players, coaches, and fans who are making a difference both on and off the field. The accompanying podcast, "Good in the Game Podcast," hosted by College Football Hall of Fame inductee, Lavar Arrington, will dive deeper into these stories through interviews and discussions.
"We are thrilled to partner with Sport & Story to showcase the many ways football is a force for good," said Steve Hatchell, NFF President & Chief Executive Officer. "Through 'Good in the Game,' we will celebrate the individuals and organizations that are using this sport to uplift others and strengthen their communities."
“Football is more than just a game – it's a platform for personal growth and leadership development,” said Arrington. “With this podcast, I’m excited to showcase the inspiring stories that highlight all that’s good in the game and the positive impact that football has on people’s lives.”
The "Good in the Game" newsletter will be distributed every Monday morning and will be available for all fans to subscribe for free by clicking here. Beginning this August, the "Good in the Game Podcast" will be released twice per month and can be found on all major podcast platforms.
“Sport & Story is proud to collaborate with the NFF on this important initiative," said Sport & Story President, Victor Vitarelli. "We believe in the power of storytelling to inspire and inform, and we are excited to share the positive narratives that too often go untold in the world of football.”
“The NFF has been inspiring young people for years through promoting and developing the power of football,” said Mike Schreiber, Founder and CEO of Playfly Sports. “With the great platform Sport & Story has built over the last few years, we are excited for ‘Good in the Game’ to showcase all the great stories that have made significant impacts on and off the field.”
