Hogs+ Picks Up Two CSMA Award Nominations

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Hogs+ has been named a finalist for two College Sports Media Awards by the Sports Video Group in association with the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics. The Hogs+ team received nods in the categories of outstanding live non-game production for their work on the Hogs+ Halftime Show during the Razorbacks’ football season and The Follow for outstanding program series.
The halftime show hosted by AJ McCord and Razorback legend Clint Stoerner debuted during the Hogs’ season-opening win over Cincinnati and followed at the break of each game all season. McCord and Stoerner broke down the game and had fun with guests each week from former Razorbacks and current #ProHogs Frank Ragnow and Brandon Allen to Arkansas super fan and television personality Bobby Bones.
The Follow – the platform’s flagship series – has been a staple on Hogs+ since launching in the fall of 2021 with a behind the scenes look of the Razorbacks’ victory over Texas inside Donald W. Reynolds Razorback stadium. The Follow goes behind the scenes weekly with various Arkansas programs throughout their seasons ranging from Sam Pittman’s football team to Eric Musselman’s men’s basketball team to Jordyn Wieber’s gymnastics squad and Courtney Deifel’s softball program. Episodes feature unique behind the scenes footage with teams at practice during the week and on game day with exclusive interviews about the action on the field and the team’s best stories away from the spotlight.
Hogs+ is one of seven finalists in each category. Winners will be announced at the 15th annual SVG College Sports Media Awards at the SVG College Summit in Atlanta on May 31. The winner for the outstanding program series will be announced online in the days leading up to the ceremony in Atlanta.
