Hogs+ Announces “Resurgence” - A New Original Film

Latest Documentary from Two-Time Emmy-Nominated Producer Spotlights the 1998 Razorback Football Team

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – In celebration of the 25th anniversary of the 1998 Razorback Football team, Resurgence – a new Hogs+ original film – chronicles the culture-changing run under new head coach Houston Nutt, in what was the greatest opening season of any Razorback coach to date.

With a total run time of 72 minutes, the documentary spotlights the team's historic 8-0 start and lasting impact on the program, containing never-before-seen footage from inside the locker room plus interviews with Houston Nutt, Clint Stoerner, Anthony Lucas, Grant Garrett, Russ Brown, Joe Dean Davenport, and Kenoy Kennedy.

The film will premiere on Thursday, September 7 on HogsPlus.com as well as on the Hogs+ TV streaming apps and the Arkansas Razorbacks mobile app. Hogs+ is also hosting its first-ever exclusive VIP screening that will be attended by invited guests and members of the 1998 team, including Head Coach Houston Nutt, and will be their first opportunity to view the film. The series was directed by Hogs+ Producer Haley Ordway, whose previous work includes the Emmy-nominated documentary series celebrating 100 Seasons of Razorback Men’s Basketball and Do You Believe in Fairy Tales spotlighting the remarkable run of the 1997-98 Arkansas women’s basketball team.
