Gamecocks+ Presents, an Original Short Film – “Small Town, Big Dreams: Darius Rush’s Life Calling”

Premiering at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 16 on Gamecocks+ is a new original short film – Small Town, Big Dreams: Darius Rush’s Life Calling.

The film tells the story of the Gamecock Football cornerback’s journey from Kingstree, S.C. – a town of only 3,000 – to the University of South Carolina and onto fulfilling his dream of making it to the NFL. 

Follow along during “Darius Rush Day” this past weekend and join the celebration on draft night while hearing from the people of Kingstree, like his mom and Nana, who helped him achieve his goals and overcome unimaginable loss at a young age.
