Former Auburn coach Tuberville says Arkansas has facilities to compete at high level

Chad Morris just needs to stick to his plan.
That’s what former Auburn coach Tommy Tuberville thinks will lead to Morris having success at Arkansas.
Tuberville joined Sports Talk on Wednesday and shared his thoughts on how he thinks Morris can win, which includes having great facilities and selling the assets Arkansas has to recruits.
“They’ve got the facilities now in Fayetteville to get it done,” Tuberville said. “Chad’s got a good pedigree behind him in terms of scoring points. Now you’ve just got to be a salesman. … You’ve got to go from coast-to-coast, north to south and sell your school, sell your conference. There are players that want to come there. You’ve just got to pick the right ones.”
Ultimately, Tuberville thinks Morris will be successful if he sticks to his own plan he brought with him to Arkansas.
“Because you know what conference you’re in and who you’ve got to compete against,” he said, “you’ve got to sell your coaches and yourself: ‘Hell or high water, this is what we’re going to do. We’re going to recruit to this, and we’re going to stick with it. Because if we change in midstream, we’re not good enough to do that, and we’re going to get fired.”
